A picture may be worth a thousand words and at times it may require almost as many to adequately describe an image. The photographs depicted in this catalog with attached brief descriptions indicate how I primarily use the photographs (as slides) to illustrate points. However since speakers provide the commentary for slides, different aspects can be emphasized.
Some of the images illustrate incorrect techniques which can be contrasted with more effective techniques. Some of these are marked with a universal prohibition sign ( a diagonal slash through the image). Since it is sometimes helpful to as the audience "What's wrong with this picture?" some of the photographs are not marked. (You may add the slash by tautly placing a narrow strip of red ribbon across the slide and securing it at each corner with masking tape).
